For a limited time, First Cumberland Presbyterian Church will be offering tech help appointments to Denton County residents to help aid digital connectivity and literacy within the community. First Cumberland Presbyterian Church (1424 Stuart Rd, Denton) has a heart for connecting individuals to the gifts of technology that can then aid in digital community-building. Our Community Technology Liaison will be available to set up 1-hour appointments at the church or make house calls for those with mobility issues (maximum 2 hours) to help navigate the waters of the changing technological landscape. You will also be shown how to access digitally-streamed worship services for First CPC, or a worship community of your choosing, to help strengthen your faith. These appointments are free of charge however, gratuity will be accepted. 

 

Appointments are open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or Saturdays by request. Persons requesting a house call must live within a 10 mile radius of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church (1424 Stuart Rd, Denton). Neutral site appointments are available at the church, the public library, or other public setting of your suggestion.

• New computer installation

• Printer installation

• Internet WiFi troubleshooting

• Other troubleshooting for printers, cell phones, tablets, computers/laptops, other smart devices

• Basic app or program help such as learning YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Microsoft Word, Gmail, cloud storage
